Portal Overview

The Typograph Portal is the web UI for designers and content operators. Everything you can do through the API is also reachable through the Portal, plus collaborative affordances like sharing, invites, comments, favorites, and trash.

Core Hierarchy

The Portal organizes content as:

Organization
  └─ Teams
       └─ Projects
            ├─ Templates   (the design files)
            ├─ Media       (images and assets used in templates)
            └─ Fonts       (fonts used in templates)

• You can belong to multiple organizations (e.g. personal + employer). Switch between them in the top-left org picker.
• An organization has teams, which group collaborators.
• Teams have projects, which bundle the templates and their supporting assets.
• Projects own templates, media, and fonts — these three always scope to a specific project.

Main Features

Comments	Leave and resolve comments on a template

Recents	Quick access to recently opened templates and searches

Trash	Soft-deleted items — restorable from your account trash
Notifications	Mentions, invites, and activity updates
Organization settings	Members, OAuth apps, webhooks, subscription, usage

Getting In

Sign-in is handled by the separate Auth UI service. The Portal redirects you there automatically — sign in with a password, Google, or Microsoft SSO, and you're returned to the Portal. Your access token is managed for you; you don't need to handle it manually.

Organization-Level Tools

Members of an organization (with the right role) can reach these under Organizations → {Your Org} in the top nav:

• Members — add and remove members, change roles
• Apps — OAuth clients for programmatic API access
• Webhooks — subscribe external services to Typograph events
• Subscription — current plan, change plan
• Usage — rate-limit usage across categories
